Here is a story that is both funny, sad, and frightening at the same time. For those who are uncapable of clicking links, it details the plight of one Yoni Cordon, a nineteen-year-old who worked at a candy factory in Philadelphia. He died this past week after drowning in a vat of liquefied chocolate. This sounds like something that would happen in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." |

Okay, I think that's about enough filler. Thank goodness for the weird news stories section of the Miami Herald website. Today's update is not exactly a Ramblings, but it is pretty close. I guess you can find out for yourself by merely clicking on the link below! Taste the excitement. |

I am finding it harder and harder to come up with decent material for this, the main page. You may have noticed this, particularly in the last update, when I talked about Sprite and obeying your thirst, and it didn't really make any sense. This is a quandry. Here is a picture of a giraffe: |

Is there anything better than a vacation? The answer, of course, is "Probably, but definitely not too many things." So I am leaving tomorrow morning for a week of sun, swimming, and an all-around good time. |
|
Before I left, however, I thought it would be nice of me to, for the first time in months (perhaps years), do one of these "two updates on one day" deals. I guess I am cheating, since I actually wrote neither of the new items, but it does make it look as if I've done a good deal of work. But as Sprite says, "Image is Nothing -- Obey Your Thirst." So I am confessing that Dan wrote this new CD review, and the other new article is a response from Tim Hortons, concerning the letter I sent them back in April. Also, I am obeying my thirst and drinking Dr. Pepper because, hey, who likes Sprite anyway? |

Dan is back after a one-update hiatus with his third edition of The Best Column (validity of this self-proclaimed title still under investigation). As predicted (by me, not him), Dan did not receive any e-mails following his request for reader input in his last column -- not a single one. So today's Best Column focuses on something entirely different, in order to save us all a little embarassment. |

In other news, rumors of Music-Den's arrival have been greatly exaggerated. Something is definitely in the air though. Could I be any more cryptic? |

There are rumours in the air. |
|
People, namely Dan Kricke and myself, are saying that a new website could be on the horizon. From the people that brought you Sports-Den.net, a new venture may be near, and that venture is Music-den.net. Okay, so maybe we could use a little work on the name, and we probably have to come up with something to put on the site besides CD reviews, but the idea is out there. Stay tuned. |

As far as the non-music portion of this site goes, here are my once-a-month Ramblings. I am back in the saddle again. |
